MOON
Main features
Third on our list is teeth whitener by MOON. Its design and simplicity would’ve allowed it to rank higher if not for the fact that it uses strips instead of gel. While there’s nothing wrong with whitening strips per se (they’re actually quite popular), they don’t offer as good of coverage as gel does. Besides, MOON’s strips are peroxide-based, so while it is faster-acting, it’s not as good as PAP. On a plus side, though, MOON teeth whitener, just like BrilliWhite, is wireless, giving you greater freedom to move about during the procedure. The kit includes the teeth whitener, travel case, USB charger, and a whopping 56 peppermint-flavor whitening strips.
Design and Use
Design-wise, MOON is superb. It offers a waterproof mouthpiece, wireless convenience, and compact design, perfect for traveling or carrying around. In terms of use, it’s also great, with a similar operating principle as BrilliWhite. The difference is that MOON has whitening strips instead of gel, so when the special light shines, the strips dissolve, applying the whitening solution to the outer enamel. While this method is much faster, for example, a single procedure with MOON lasts only 5 minutes, it has some disadvantages, too.
🦷 Value
While MOON teeth whitening kits certainly have a lot of great features and do seem like a tempting option, it is dearer than the first two devices on our list. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, as it does offer a great amount of whitening strips and a travel case, but all things considered, it was just a bit behind our top two choices. However, if having familiarized yourself with the way this device works you’re still tempted to get it, then you shouldn’t be left disappointed.
